McKivigan

Andrew K. McKivigan, 41, of Butler, passed away Friday afternoon, Dec. 22, 2023, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 25, 1982, in Butler, a son of Richard L. McKivigan and Vickie L. (Flanigan) Rackham.

Andrew was a graduate of Butler High School, also the New Castle School of Trades. He worked in the family business at Butler Tire and was known for being a gifted carpenter.

He is survived by his mother, Vickie (Gary) Rackham of Butler; his father, Richard (Sandy) McKivigan of Butler; his siblings, Cara (Brandon) Kriebel of Butler, Matthew (Jessica) McKivigan of Zelienople and Katie (Richard) Guzak of Wintergarden, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Luella Flanigan and David and Anna Marie McKivigan.

MCKIVIGAN — Family and friends of Andrew K. McKivigan, who died Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, will gather from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Services to follow at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Andrew’s love for animals, donations are requested to Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
