Mills

June O. Mills, 96, of Mars, formerly of Richland Township, passed away on Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 2023, in Mars.

Born in Pittsburgh, on Dec. 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Hughes Kristian.

June had worked for 24 years as a custodian for T.E. Hohman Company in Gibsonia and later worked 12 years as a custodian at Richland High School.

Surviving are two sisters, Mary Barb Chisnell of Reistertown, Md. and Carol Lee Zarbynicky of Chicora; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Jack” Mills, whom she married on Sept. 20, 1947, and who died on April 27, 2012; and by her sisters, Gertrude Edinger, Joan Dobson, Peggy Peaco and Clara Gray.

MILLS — Services for June O. Mills, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, are private under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars.

Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Pine Township.
