Gustafson 50th anniversary
Bob “Gus” and Marian Gustafson of Butler and Venice, Fla., celebrated 50 years of marriage with a party with family and friends. The party theme was “Around the World in 50 Years” to highlight their international travels. The event included a jazz group performance.
Gustafson married the former Marian Grimes on May 2, 1964, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh.
They have two children, Robert Gustafson II of Butler and Julie Gustafson of Masury, Ohio.
Gustafson is a retired metallurgist from Armco Steel. He is an avid reader. He enjoys jazz and classical music and worldwide travel.
Mrs. Gustafson retired from the nursing faculty of Butler County Community College. She enjoys photography, volunteer activities and planning trips such as their recent cruise of the Adriatic Sea.
The couple especially enjoys traveling to places where they have never been.
