Fourth-graders at Mars Area Elementary School displayed dioramas Wednesday, Dec. 20, based on the movie “Home Alone.”
After watching the movie in class, students participated in a cross-curricular activity to create scale-model traps and save the movie’s main character — Kevin McCallister — from burglars.
Organized by fourth-grade teacher Sharyn Lipnicky, the dioramas were on display in the school’s gymnasium from 11-11:30 a.m., 1:45-2:15 p.m. and 2:30-3 p.m.
