Rathfon

Joseph Bradley “Brad” Rathfon, 69, of Cortland, Ohio, formerly of Bruin, Pa., passed away early Monday morning, Nov. 20, 2023, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, of natural causes.

Born in Butler, on June 8, 1954, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Kurtzhals Rathfon.

Brad was Catholic by faith, and was a graduate of the former Fairview Township-Karns City High School.

He loved music in all fashions, was a noted and talented guitarist, and was a music operation owner.

Surviving are three daughters, Tiffany Petricini and Courtney and Shana Rathfon; his longtime companion, Yvonne “Bonnie” Summerville; sister, Yvonne DeBacco; and brother, Dr. James (Judy) Rathfon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry L. and John Henry Rathfon.
