1:22 a.m. Sunday — William James Doerr III, 25, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West Wayne Street. Police said Doerr also was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.

9:34 p.m. Wednesday — Frederick H. Bolton, 48, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUIon Morton Avenue.

12:55 a.m. Sunday — Beverly Shoup, 49, of Eau Claire was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 38 in Eau Claire.2:30 p.m. Saturday — Rose Shay, 51, of East Brady, Clarion County, was arrested for allegedly shoplifting $490 in clothing and jewelry from the JCPenney store at Clearview Mall in Center Township. Police said Shay faces a charge of retail theft.12:55 a.m. Saturday — Lee E. Hamilton, 27, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Main Street in Chicora.Saturday — An unknown thief stole a Sylvan fishing boat and trailer from a cabin on Book Road in Muddy Creek Township. The stolen property, owned by Paul Gloeckl of Pittsburgh, was taken between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Saturday.Saturday — Three compressed oxygen tanks were taken from the front porch at the Lite Lane home of Barbara Saver in Center Township. The theft occurred between 4 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.3:55 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Valentine Kefeli, 70 of Slippery Rock and a truck driven by Joseph Noonan, 47, of Hamburg, N.Y., collided on Interstate 79 in

2:35 p.m. Friday — A tractor-trailer driven by Richard L. McDeavitt, 26, of Butler jackknifed on Clearfield Road in Winfield Township. The crash rolled the trailer onto its side and crushed a Kubota excavator that was inside.McDeavitt was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with unknown injuries. Police said a passenger, Aaron E. Ealy, 20, of Butler, also was taken to the hospital. McDeavitt was cited for driving too fast for conditions, police said.Friday — Undisclosed food items were stolen in a burglary between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday at Gino's Dairy Barn on Route 68 in Donegal Township.Friday — Kenneth Adams of Parker reported that $200 was taken from his wallet at a Lincoln Street home in Parker, Armstrong County.Friday — An unknown thief stole a catalytic converter from a pickup truck at Altmire's Trucking on Route 38 in Venango Township. The converter, owned by Mitchell Wagner of Slippery Rock, is valued at $250.Friday — Kimberly Jo Cousins, 44, of Butler is accused of assaulting David Cousins, 52, of Butler during an argument as the couple was traveling in a vehicle on Route 308 in Clay Township. Police said Kimberly Jo Cousins is charged with simple assault.5 p.m. Thursday — Police seized adozen marijuana plants growing in the yard at 195 Hufnagel Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police reported they have a suspect in the case, which remains under investigation.Wednesday — Anumber of bottles of prescription medication was stolen in a series of burglaries between June 19 and Wednesday at a Chestnut Street home in Fairview. The unknown burglar or burglars also damaged the home's interior.Wednesday — Catalytic converters were stolen between June 22 and Wednesday from two vehicles at the Gardenscape parking lot at Route 38 and Sandy Point Road in Allegheny Township. Edward Burgdorfer of Franklin, Venango County, and Jeffrey Barger of Callensburg, Clarion County, own the stolen property.
