Zema

Larry D. Zema, 80, of Cabot, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Aug. 31, 1943, in West Winfield, he was the son of Nicholas Zema and Ruby Stauffner Zema.

Larry was retired from Moonlight Mushrooms after 41 years.

Surviving are his wife, Karen “Trink” (Kitko) Zema, whom he married June 24, 1995; his daughter, Brenda (Lee) Youngblood of Arkansas; grandchildren, Eric and Nicole; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Janet (Paul) Burrows of Cabot; his sister-in-law, Bertha Zema of Cabot; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Marjorie Langston, Ruby Zema and Marsha Zema; and two brothers, Donald Zema and Nicholas Zema.

ZEMA — A memorial service for Larry D. Zema, who died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with the Rev. Ben Berteau officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
