Donna M. Connor, 86, of Manakin Sabot, Va., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Commonwealth Senior Living in Richmond, Va.

She was born July 29, 1937, in Carbon Center, Pa., the daughter of the late Harold Milton and Opal (Smith) Mahoney. She loved sewing, cross stitching, gardening and cooking. She excelled at being a great homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Colleen (Tom) Schattauer of Butler, Kelly (Chris) Teachey of Manakin Sabot, Va., and Kathleen (Mark) Uhrinek of Emlenton; five grandchildren, Phillip (Shanell) Neyman, Kristen (Ken) Strickland, Laura (Cole) Slingluff, Kayla (Adam) Larsen and Matthew Neyman; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward J. “Red” Connor, who died July 3, 2014; a son, Richard J. Connor; and two sisters.

CONNOR — Friends of Donna M. Connor, who died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Saturday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with Pastor Andy Wells of Faith Fellowship Church officiating.

Private interment will be in the North Side Cemetery, Butler.
