The Bombaras in 1958

John and Carmella Bombara of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a renewal service Saturday at Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, followed by a family dinner.

Bombara married the former Carmella LaGamba on Sept. 27, 1958, at Our Lady of Help of Christian Church in Pittsburgh.

They have four sons, David Bombara, Mark Bombara, Rick Bombara and Ronald Bombara, all of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Bombara was president of Bombara and Sons Kitchens until his 1996 retirement.

Mrs. Bombara is a homemaker.

The couple are members of Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church.
