Butler Twp Police7:49 p.m. Wednesday — Christopher W. Hair, 35, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after police responded to a call about a man in a pickup truck acting strange on Arbor Street.5:01 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by James Stewart, 57, of Parker and a pickup truck driven by Michael Pflugh, 53, of Renfrew collided at the intersection of Route 8 and McCalmont Road. Stewart was cited for not stopping at a red light.3:04 p.m. Oct. 18 — A vehicle driven by Kathryn Spingola, 23, of Butler landed in a ditch along Delwood Road. Spingnola, who told police she swerved to miss a cat, was cited for not staying in the lane.

State Police, Butler9:30 p.m. Thursday — A 45-year-old Butler woman, whom police did not identify, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.9:53 p.m. Wednesday — Garrett Bylinoswki, 24, of Sarver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle wrecked on Leasureville Road in Brady Township.8 a.m. Wednesday — Timothy Schnur, 53, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and related traffic offenses following a traffic stop on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.1 a.m. Sunday — Amanda Jean Hazuda, 22, of Mercer was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle struck a parked car at the Pine Glenn Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.Sunday — The front tires of an unattended vehicle owned by a Ford City woman were slashed at the Clearview Mall parking lot off Route 8 between 5 p.m. Oct. 22 and 9 a.m. Oct. 23. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

State Police, Mercer5:28 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Joyce Isles, 66, of Grove City hit an embankment along Old Ash Road in Springfield Township and overturned. No injuries were reported.
