Cindy Peffer Flugher

Peffer Flugher

Cindy Lu Peffer Flugher, 64, of Nixa, Mo., formerly of Harmony, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, reuniting with her parents, Bob and Ruth Peffer.

Spending most her life in Harmony and Zelie, graduating from Seneca Valley with the Class of 1977, she wore many hats: secretary, banker, FedEx driver, Avon lady and travel agent. In that time she met and married her soul mate, the love of her life, Roger “Dodge” Flugher, with whom she started her next adventure in Missouri so he could pursue his career in Branson. There she was a school bus driver, election worker and spent 12 years at Macy's, which fueled her passion for gift giving and making Christmas her favorite holiday.

She was a sparkle in a dark world, and she had a fire for Jesus. She lived her life to the fullest and loved traveling with Dodge and meeting people from all over —making friends of them all. She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Rog; brothers, Wayne (Diana) and Dennis (Cindy) Peffer; sisters, Kae Peffer and Susan (Dane) Sarver; nephews, Wayne II, Robert Earl and Jeremy; nieces, Jennifer, Rachel, Shari and Crysta; several great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces; a great-great-nephew; and all the friends she made along the way in many states.

We all share a peace that passes all understanding, knowing she is with Jesus and we shall all be together again for always.

A celebration of life will follow.
