Butler Township is hosting a Halloween Home Decorating Contest for the first time.

The township is encouraging residents to put up their spookiest – or funniest — Halloween decorations for the community to see. Judging will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 30, when judges will travel around the township and visit each home that has registered for the contest and make their decision on who has the most “spooktacular” home.

This contest is for Butler Township residents only and all entries must be received no later than Oct. 26. Residents can register at butlertwp.org/contest.
