BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

The Rev. Millie Martsolf will provide music Sunday at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will have a mission trip Saturday to the flood area of Connellsville. There is a sign-up sheet in the office or call the office at 724-287-4462.

Holy Communion will be observed Sunday. The chancel choir will meet at 10:20 a.m. Sunday in the choir room.

Deliver Election Day bake sale items to the church Monday evening or early Tuesday.

Items for House of Hope are still being accepted.

CHRIST OUTREACH

Christ Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., has canceled the Sunday night pickup basketball game until further notice.

Bible study will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The board of directors will meet at 7:30 p.m.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School. There will be Communion Sunday.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper during the Sunday worship service.

Stewardship emphasis will begin Sunday. A letter with pledge cards will be mailed next week.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will have ladies’ Bible study at 7 p.m. today at the Dittmer home.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

The confirmation retreat at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at Lutherlyn, 500 Lutherlyn Lane.

All Saints Sunday will be commemorated at both worship services.

A taize service of prayer for the nation will be at 7 p.m. Monday.

GLADE RUN UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will serve Communion at both Sunday services.

Members will meet for prayer in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. Sunday.

GRACE @ CALVARY

GLOW, a youth event for children 5 through 12, will meet from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St.

Church members will set up for the community dinner at 4 p.m. and serve the dinner at 5 p.m. Monday at First English Lutheran Church.

Butler County Relay For Life will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the church.

The finance committee will met at 6:30 p.m. and the worship and music committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated during worship Sunday at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

Harvest Home foods for this week are boxed or bagged food including cake mixes, macaroni and cheese, dried pasta and rice, cereal, flour and sugar.

The women’s book club will meet at 12:15 p.m. Sunday in the Hall Memorial Lounge.

Sunday is the reservation deadline for the Consecration Sunday luncheon Nov. 13.

The Hill Quilters will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the fellowship hall.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Matt Reichart from Pine Valley Bible Camp will speak at the Sunday service at Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars. Veterans also will be recognized.

The buildings and grounds committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the board room.

The fiber arts ladies will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 in the fellowship hall.

NEW ZION

New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Route 38, five miles north of Emlenton, will observe International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church at the Sunday worship service. There will be a brief presentation.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

The youth group of Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will visit homeless people in Pittsburgh Saturday. To contribute supplies for the trip, including batteries, blankets, new socks and underwear or baked goods, deliver them to the church by Friday evening.

Flyers for the ladies’ tea and quilt show are available in the church lobby.

The annual meeting will be after worship Nov. 13.

Sunday is the deadline to sign up to go to the Gaither Christmas Homecoming concert on Dec. 2.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

All Saints Day and Communion will be celebrated Sunday at Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury.

The steering committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

Preparations for the pork chop and chicken dinner Nov. 12 will be at 9 a.m. Nov. 11 and 9 a.m. Nov. 12.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The November mission offering at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will support the Samaritan Counseling Center of Western Pennsylvania.

The Christmas cookie walk will be Dec. 10.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, will celebrate All Saints Sunday with Holy Communion during the worship service. The Rev. Gary Brown will lead the service.

The November cause of the month is Trinity International Missions in Thailand. Donations will help obtain milk, infant formula and a new washing machine for its orphanage, as well as Bibles for the juvenile women’s prison.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will celebrate All Saints’ Sunday with Holy Communion.

The Sunday school will lead a 2 p.m. Sunday service at Elmcroft Assisted Living.

The senior high youth group will meet for planning and a movie night from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the youth room.

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will have a Festival of All Saints weekend. Communion will be offered at all worship services.

The confirmation class will meet at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

3T will meet at 9 a.m. Monday in the fellowship hall.

The Ruth Circle will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church lounge.

SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN

Members of Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, who signed up for the 60-plus luncheon will gather in the fellowship hall at noon Sunday, and the youths will meet at 6 p.m.

The deacons will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, and session will meet at 7 p.m.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will celebrate All Saints’ Day at all weekend services.

The men’s ministry breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall.

There will be a meeting of church council and ministry chairs at 10 a.m. Saturday.

There will be a potluck giving thanks dinner after the 11 a.m. Sunday service.

There will be a day of prayer at 7 a.m. Monday at Trinity and at 7 p.m. Monday at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.

The property ministry will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.

There will be a pasta dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
