BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have its Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The choir will sing three Christmas selections during the 10:45 a.m. Sunday worship service. There will be no Sunday school on Christmas Day.

CABOT UNITED METHODIST

Cabot United Methodist Church, 707 Winfield Road, Cabot, will have Christmas Eve candlelight services at 4:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday.

The Christmas Day worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The three Christmas Eve services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will be at 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The last service will include Communion.

There will be one 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, Christmas Day.

The church office will be closed Monday.

CHRIST OUTREACH

Christ Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will not have a Christmas Eve service Saturday, but will have a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

COMMUNITY ALLIANCE

Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, will have Christmas Eve services with candle lighting at 3, 4:45 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have its traditional Christmas Eve service of lessons and carols, based on the service from Cambridge University in England, beginning with festival music at 7 p.m. and worship at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated and the worship service will conclude with candlelighting.

Covenant will join Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church for worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, will celebrate Christmas Eve with a candlelight Communion service at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The congregation will worship with North Butler Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Sunday. There will not be a service at East Butler Presbyterian.

FAITH FELLOWSHIP

Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Saturday and a Christmas Day service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a Christmas service at 11 a.m. Sunday. There will be no afternoon or evening services Sunday.

First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will have a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Saturday and a Christmas Day worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The Christian Science Church, 120 W. Penn St., will have its annual Christmas Day service at 10 a.m. Sunday. The service will include Christmas hymns and the Bible story of Jesus’ birth.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have family service at 4:30 p.m., a musical prelude at 10 p.m. and a candlelight service of Holy Communion at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Christmas Eve.

There will be a service of Word and sacrament at 10 a.m. Sunday, Christmas Day.

FORESTVILLE United Methodist

Forestville United Methodist Church, 124 Boyers Road, Forestville, will have a Christmas Day unified worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

There will be a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Saturday at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St.

Christmas morning there will be a 10 a.m. Sunday service. Cinnamon rolls and coffee will be served in the social hall at 9 a.m.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

The weekly worship service will be the celebration of the arrival of the Savior on Christmas Eve. Vespers and the lighting of candles of remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and be followed by a service of carols and Communion. There will be a Nativity pageant.

There will not be a morning worship service Sunday.

HARVEST COMMUNITY

Harvest Community Church in Petroleum Valley, 118 N. Fairview Main St., Petrolia, will have a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

HIGHLAND PRESBYTERIAN

Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service with special choir music at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Christmas joy offering will be collected.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will have its “Happy Birthday Jesus” service, a family-friendly worship, at 4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall. Birthday cake and beverages will follow the service.

There will be a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 p.m. Saturday. The Christmas Eve service with musical preludes by vocalists, handbell ringers and instrumentalists will be at 8:30 p.m.

Christmas Day worship will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The Christmas joy offering will be received.

LIVING WATERS

Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., will have a candlelight worship Christmas Eve service with Scottish traditional lessons and carols at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a casual Christmas morning service at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will have a Christmas Eve service with carols, Communion, a Christmas tale and a candle-lighting ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Residents of the Mars Home for Youth will have Christmas Eve services at 4:15 and 6:15 p.m. Saturday.

The Christmas Day service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday.

PORTERSVILLE PRESBYTERIAN

The Presbyterian Church of Portersville, 1297 Perry Highway, Portersville, will have a candlelight Christmas Eve ceremony at 7 p.m. Saturday.

A Christmas Day celebration service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury, will celebrate Christmas Eve with a children’s service at 4 p.m. Saturday and a candlelight service at 7 p.m. Communion will be offered at both services.

There will not be a service on Sunday.

THE SOWER'S CHAPEL

The Sower’s Chapel, 100 Iron Bridge Road, Sarver, will celebrate Christmas Eve with a candlelit pageant of living pictures of the Nativity events at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be a worship service of readings from the Christmas story and reflective music at 10 a.m. Sunday, Christmas Day.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, will have Holy Communion during the Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Saturday.

St. John’s United Methodist Church, 244 Hallston Road, Slippery Rock, will have a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Saturday.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will celebrate Christmas Eve with three candlelight Communion services. There will be a children’s service at 4 p.m. Saturday. The Praise Band will provide special music for the 8 p.m. service. A traditional service will be at 10 p.m. and include the Generations Choir and pipe organ.

There will be one Communion worship service Christmas Day at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. There will be no Sunday school.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will have candlelight Christmas Eve services with Holy Communion at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Christmas morning worship with Holy Communion will be at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. There will be no children’s Sunday School and no children’s church on Christmas morning.

The church and office will be closed Monday.

ST. PETER'S ANGLICAN

St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will have a traditional candlelight service of Holy Communion on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The celebratory Christmas Day Holy Communion service will be at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, will host a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
