The First English Lutheran Church community dinner work team of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 4 p.m. Monday.

The trustee committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Bible study will resume at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

CHRIST OUTREACH

Christ Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will have a speaker from LifeChoices to celebrate Sanctity of Life Sunday. The church will participate in the baby bottle campaign. A strategy meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lifetree classroom.

The budget/vision meeting for all members will follow the Jan. 22 morning worship service.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

There will be a men’s breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday at Kings Restaurant, 191 New Castle Road.

There will be a mandatory meeting for current meal ministry volunteers at noon Sunday in the elementary room. Those interested in joining the ministry may attend.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have a Souper Bowl Soup Luncheon after worship Jan. 22 in the assembly room. Proceeds will benefit the Covenant Community dinners mission outreach. Contact the church office to help prepare the luncheon.

Faith Fellowship Alliance

Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive, will have ministry school at 6 p.m. Sundays. The Rev. Richard Jenks will lead the classes.

FIRST BAPTIST

The Berean Class of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist youth center.

Sunday’s service schedule will include regular morning activities followed by lunch and a 1 p.m. worship service.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY

The growth groups of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will return to their normal schedules.

The prayer meeting will be at 10 a.m. Sunday.

GRACE @ CALVARY

The fellowship and service committee of Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the ladies’ lounge.

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, will open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 19.

The evangelism and stewardship committee will meet following the worship service Sunday in the church library.

Church members will lead worship with adult day care participants at LIFE Butler County at 11 a.m. Monday and Tuesday.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Baptism of the Lord will be Sunday’s worship focus at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The chancel choir will sing and a fellowship hour will follow the service.

The needle craft group will meet at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Annual reports from session committees and other church groups are due Jan. 22.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have a stewardship meeting at 7 p.m. today at the office.

The installation of new officers will be at the 11 a.m. Sunday service.

The youth group will meet at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

NEW ZION EVANGELICAL

New Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Route 38, five miles north of Emlenton, will observe Sanctity of Human Life Day Sunday. The worship service will include a brief video and the Baby Bottle Boomerang project. The project will benefit AAA Life Services of Clarion.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will have its seventh annual Lego tournament beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The youth group will go to the “Winter Jam” Christian concert in Pittsburgh on Jan. 20. Friday is the deadline to sign up.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will have the Celebration of Winter luncheon after worship Sunday in the memorial room.

A new adult education series on prayer will begin at 9:15 a.m. Sunday in the church library.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, will celebrate the second Sunday after Epiphany with Holy Communion during the Sunday worship service. New officers for the church council and the cemetery association also will be installed.

The church council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will celebrate Holy Communion at all services Sunday.

Food bank participation will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday due to the Monday holiday.
