12 VA Butler Healthcare workers receive awards
BUTLER TWP — Twelve VA Butler Healthcare employees were recognized for their work at the 2009 Federal Women of the Year Awards Luncheon.
Sponsored by the Pittsburgh Federal Executive Board Federal Women's Program Committee, the annual awards recognizes individuals or teams who have made contributions to their workplaces.
The VA winners are:
• Patricia Nealon, VA Butler Healthcare director; and Patricia Landgraf, housekeeping aid supervisor of environmental services, both received gold awards in the categories of Professional/Supervisory and Technical Trades & Crafts;
• Carol Weitzel, registered nurse, Clinical Charge Nurse, Patient Care Services, was awarded a silver award in the Professional/Supervisory Category;
• Teneal Caw, assistant human resources officer, Human Resources Department, and Cherie Clamidori, assistant chief engineer, Facility Management, got bronze awards in the Professional/Supervisory Category;
• Brenda Sprouse, Women Veterans Program manager, and Dr. Tammy Summers, doctor of audiology, Primary Care Department, were awarded bronze awards in the Professional/Non-supervisory category;
• Tamra Brooks, Medical Laboratory Technician, Primary Care Department, and Terri Solkovy, Medical Records Technician, Record of Information, received a bronze award in Technical Trades and Crafts;
• Sally Mills, Human Resource Assistant, Human Resource Department, Janice Nulph, Program Support Specialist in Primary Care Department, and Denise Tilko, administrative assistant for Facility Management, all received bronze awards in Staff Support.
