Podolak

John Podolak Jr., 84, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, passed away on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 12, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side.

Born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 12, 1939, he was the son of the late John and Adeline Podolak Sr.

John had been a steelworker for LTV Steel and more recently enjoyed working as a demonstrator at Costco in Cranberry Township.

He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at Holy Sepulcher Church in Glade Mills.

Surviving are his wife, Gertrude Bacho Podolak, whom he married on May 19, 1964; two sons, John Podolak III and his wife, Carrie, of Middlesex Township and Michael C. Podolak and his wife, Lisa, of Economy Borough; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Hunter, Cameron, Aiden, Riley, Logan and Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Yvonne.
