Bernard Yarnot
Bernard F. Yarnot, 82, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 20, 1941, in Pittsburgh, to the late Bernard M. Yarnot and Anna Henchar Yarnot.
Bernard was a terminal dispatcher for Sunoco. He enjoyed collecting antique car models, going to car cruises, and watching NASCAR and Steelers games. Bernard was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Paul Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. (Cegalis) Yarnot, whom he married on Feb. 9, 1963; one son, Brennan Yarnot; one daughter, Lorraine (Joe) Krajekian; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Krajekian, Connor Yarnot and Allison Yarnot; two brothers, William Yarnot and Martin Yarnot; and two sisters, Betty Jean Jones and Eleanor Thomas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Palmer, Amy Barth and Margaret Simon.
YARNOT — Friends of Bernard F. Yarnot, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial and committal service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at All Saints Parish, St. Paul Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. A military service with full honors will follow directly after the committal service.
A private burial will take place at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
