Monday — Police filed a retail theft charge against Joseph Paul Kane, 42, of Parker, who is accused of shoplifting a cart full of unspecified items out of the Giant Eagle store in the Moraine Pointe Plaza on June 4.1 p.m. Sunday — Amotorcycle driven by Tamara Sales, 43, and a car driven by Flora Sapar, no age given, both of Butler, collided at Whitestown Road and Acre Avenue.Sales, who was wearing a helmet, suffered an unknown head injury. She was conscious and talking with paramedics before she was flown by medical helicopter to an unknown Pittsburgh hospital.

7:20 p.m. Sunday — Three boys face charges after they were caught smoking marijuana at the Knoch Middle School playground in Jefferson Township. The boys — two 17-year-olds from Saxonburg and a 16-year-old from Pittsburgh — were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities did identify them.Saturday — A thief between Wednesday and Saturday took unspecified items from several unlocked vehicles on Spring Run Road in Clearfield Township.

2:45 a.m. Sunday — Darla Ivancic, 58, of Mercer was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at the Grove City Medical Center parking lot in Pine Township.2 a.m. Sunday — Alan L. Keck, 53, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 258 near Jervis Road in Liberty Township.
