Aida Elizabeth Barnhart Vail
Aida Elizabeth Barnhart Vail, 93, died Thursday at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Md.
Born Dec. 28, 1914, in Bruin, she was the daughter of Chalmer and Ada Barnhart.
She was the wife of the late Earle L. Vail, her husband for 69 years.
From 1951 until 1996, she and Earle resided on the family farm near Boyds, Md., prior to moving to Asbury Methodist Village.
Mrs. Vail was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Olney, Md.
Surviving are four children Vernon Vail of Marion, S.C., Keith Vail of Boyds, Md., Roger Vail of Columbia, Md., and Janet Vail of Washington, DC; two brothers, William Barnhart of Piqua, Ohio, and George Robert Barnhart of Fresno, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Cole; and a brother, Howard Barnhart.
