Collins

Marie G. Collins, 88, of Center Township died Wedn-esday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born in 1918 in Butler, she was a daughter of Nelson and Martha Hilliard.

Mrs. Collins was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also was a member of Penn Township Card Club and Tanglewood Senior Center.

She loved to travel, and for years, she traveled to the Carolinas, where she spent her winters. She was an avid reader.

Surviving are four sons, Raymond Collins and his wife, Joyce, of Butler, Richard Collins and his wife, Carol, of Gaithersburg, Md., Roger Collins and his wife, Venita, of Diamond, Ohio, and Randy Collins of Gibsonia; three daughters, Marsha Hook of Wilmington, Del., Mary Pat Burns and her husband, William, of McLean, Va., and Margie Wilbert and her husband, Ken, of Rock Springs, Wyo.; two brothers, Leo Hilliard of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Dan Hilliard of Streetsboro, Ohio; and a sister, Genevieve Eybers of Nyack, N.Y.

Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Raymond J. Collins, whom she married in 1940, died in 1973. A son, Robert, also preceded her in death.

Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
