Anna Hussar
Anna Hussar, 89, of the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville, formerly of Penn Avenue in Lyndora, died Tuesday at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born Jan. 17, 1917, in McKees Rocks, she was a daughter of Andrew and Mary Kaschik Sekela.
She was a homemaker and mother, and she was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
Surviving are three sons, Peter Hussar Jr. of Hilliard, Ohio, Kenneth J. "Doats" Hussar of Butler and Michael A. Hussar of Meridian; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a niece, and four nephews.
Her husband, Peter "Magoose" Hussar, whom she married Sept. 21, 1941, died Jan. 6, 1996. A sister also preceded her in death.
<B>HUSSAR </B>— Friends of Anna Hussar, who died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lyndora, with the Rev. Dennis Bogda officiating.
