Anne Fedosick
Anne Fedosick, 86, formerly of Deshon Court in Butler, died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born July 22, 1922, in Armstrong County, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Gaydos Chernick.
Anne was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. As a young lady, she worked at Butler Armco during World War II.
She was a member of the St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora. She also was a member and past president of the Sisterhood of the Altar at the St. Andrew Church.
Anne loved to crochet and did so for more than 65 years. All of her family and friends received a handmade afghan from her.
Her husband of 43 years, Joseph Fedosick, preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1988.
Surviving are her daughter, Joanne Lippold and her husband, Larry Lippold, of Butler, and three sons and their wives, Richard P. and Judy Fedosick of Sewickley, Stephen J. and Barbara Fedosick of Butler and Thomas E. and Pam Fedosick of the Avalon area of Pittsburgh. Eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Anne was one of nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Olga Heddle of Monroeville, Mrs. Hellen Drozda of West Chester and Margaret "Peggy" Fair and her husband, Ronald Fair, of Butler; and a brother, Sarge Chernick and his wife, Jennie Chernick, of Butler. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
<B>FEDOSICK </B>—<B> </B>There will be no public visitation, and funeral services for Anne Fedosick, who died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, will be private.
