Phyllis Mae Karenbauer, 88, of Herman, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, at Morning Pointe Memory Care in Tennessee.

Phyllis was born July 17, 1935, in Herman, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Stella (Geibel) Reott.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church and a volunteer worker for the annual fish fries for many years.

Phyllis was a homemaker as well as co-owner of K’s Korner in Herman for seven years, she enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband Bill; they were married 55 years.

Surviving are her five children and their spouses, Melinda and Mitchell Roth, of East Butler, Leslie and Shawn Karenbauer, of Lexington, Ky., Denise and Les McGinnis, of Butler, Lisa and Jarrett Ivy, of Lexington, Ky., and Amy Jo and Dennis Snyder, of Knoxville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, Kristy (Brian), Ryan (Nicole), Trevor, Matt, Tori (Liam), Mark, Chris, John, Garrett (Jennifer), Colin, Greta, Morgan and Ava; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lillian Reott, of Herman; and a brother-in-law, Lonnie (Louise) Karenbauer, of Grove City.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, William, who passed away Oct. 11, 2012; three brothers; and four sisters.

KARENBAUER — Friends of Phyllis Mae Karenbauer, who died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Butler. Her burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
