Raymond Sinicki

Sinicki

Raymond Stevan Sinicki, 84, of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community.

Born April 24, 1942, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Laura (Ganczak) Sinicki.

Ray proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter in Tucson, Ariz. In 1975, his career with Safety First brought him and his family to Cranberry Township, a community that would become an important part of his life. He later spent 25 years working for the Seneca Valley School District before his retirement.

Ray believed in being involved and giving back. He was a faithful member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, where he served as a Eucharistic minister, helped with the parish festival and Men’s Club, advised the junior youth group, and volunteered with the Stations of the Cross. His involvement in the Cranberry community also included coaching Cranberry Girls Softball and managing Round the World Mini-Golf behind the Dairy Queen.

Ray found great enjoyment in collecting trains and Matchbox cars, and Walt Disney World always held a special place in his heart.

Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Karen Fissore (Thomas), Sandra Heckman (Andrew), Janet Laughner (James) and James Sinicki (Megan); his grandchildren, Katelynne (Daniel) Burke, Kassandra (Matthew) Lindenberger, Katerina (Vincent) Lowerre, Abigail Fissore and Madalyn (Deandre) Parker, Isabel and Nathan (Madison) Heckman, Morgan, Macy and Matthew Laughner, and Taylor and Mia Sinicki; his great-grandchildren, Vena and Margo Lowerre, Aidan Heckman and Eliana Parker; and his siblings, Robert Sinicki, Eugene Sinicki (Doris) and Dorothy Sinicki.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Budryk) Sinicki; and his brothers, Richard, Henry and Walter Sinicki Jr.
