Dorothy G. Hackett, 80, of East Jefferson Street, formerly of Benbrook Road, went to be with her Lord at 11:21 a.m. Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Butler, Feb. 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Miller and Margaret Gessler Miller.

Mrs. Hackett was a Baptist and retired from the Eagle Printery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Glenn Hackett, who died Jan. 4, 1992.

She is survived by one son, Kevin Hackett of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Karin Birckbichler and her husband, John, of Jackson, N.J., and Kimberly Johnson of Butler; eight grandchildren, Cheyenne and Heather Johnson, Tiffany Sober, Dustin Hackett, Tabitha Birckbichler-Tahaney, and Sabrina, Michael and Matthew Birckbichler; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Johnson; one brother, Aaron Eugene Miller of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she also was preceded in death by one sister, Mathilda Brown.
