State Rep. Stephenie Scialabba, R-12th, is reminding veterans and their spouses that the next available date for in-person assistance is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at her district office in the Cranberry Township Municipal Building, 2525 Rochester Road.

A veteran specialist with the American Legion will assist veterans and their families, the VA health care system and the appeals process. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive this free service.

Scialabba encourages eligible participants to call her district office at 724-772-3110 to set up an appointment.
