Patching scheduled for Route 228 in Buffalo, Clinton townships

A portion of Route 228 in Buffalo and Clinton townships will undergo patching scheduled to start Wednesday, Nov. 11, according to PennDOT.

The patching will take place from the roundabout at Saxonburg Boulevard and Ekastown Road to its intersection with Sarver Road. It will last two to three weeks. Drivers should expect short-term lane closures and flaggers.

Utility crews will continue to work in the area through spring 2027, as weather permits.

The work is part of a $17.3 million project expected to be completed at the end of November 2028.
