Earl M. Benovitz, 92, of Valencia, formerly of Mars, passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 7, 2023.

Born in McKeesport on Feb. 25, 1931, he was the son of the late Morris and Sadye Kahn Benovitz.

Earl owned Sally Fashions, located in Duquesne, for decades, but above all, he valued his family more than anything.

Surviving are his wife, Revva Katzman Benovitz; his son, Charles Benovitz (Leslie), of Wexford; his daughter, Paula Tahler (James), of Reading; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Benovitz, of Santa Clara, Calif.; his grandchildren, Evan Tahler (Christina), Heather Tahler and Eric Benovitz; and his great-granddaughter, Maddi Benovitz.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Bruce and Steve Benovitz.

BENOVITZ — Arrangements for Earl M. Benovitz, who died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, are private under the direction of the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
