Michael J. "Mickey" Patrick, 68, of Butler passed away Saturday at his home.

He was born May 26, 1941, in McKeesport, the son of the late Michael and Helen (Ference) Patrick.

He was a self-employed musician known as "Mickey the one man big band" for more than 40 years.

Mr. Patrick was a veteran of U.S. Army.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Jean Ann Patrick, three sons, Michael W. Patrick of Butler, Joseph A. Patrick of West Mifflin and Jeffrey R. Patrick of Butler; four grandchildren, Joey, Kelli, Kristin and Christopher Patrick; and a sister, Mrs. Mac (Helen) McGowan of Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Patrick.

<B>PATRICK</B> — Friends of Michael J. "Mickey" Patrick, who died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Kenneth McDeavitt of New Hope Baptist Church officiating.
