Amy L. Regal
Amy L. Regal, 94, a resident of Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospice. She was formerly of Meridian.
Born Sept. 23, 1914, in Butler, she was a daughter of Arthur F. and Martha Florence Guise Regal.
She was a 1933 graduate of Butler High School. She then continued her education at The Butler Business College where she graduated in 1935. She also attended Grove City College. She was a member of the Alpha Iota International Sorority.
She worked as a teacher at the Butler Business College and was later the proprietor of the business school from 1947 until the early 1950s. She later worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for Hull's paving company in Butler and other local businesses.
She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Butler.
Surviving is a nephew, Samuel F. Regal of Zelienople; two nieces, Mrs. Earl (Catherine) Fox of Harmony, and Mrs. Margaret Diebold of Riverside, Calif. Several grandnieces and grandnephews also survive her.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
<B>REGAL</B> — Friends of Amy L. Regal, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Peterson, pastor of St. John's Reformed Church, officiating.Burial will follow in the Northside Cemetery.
