Sylvia Ruth Zucker, of Highland Beach, Fla., was born June 5, 1926, in Kansas City, Mo., to the late Saul and Dora Baraban.

Sylvia and her late husband, Dr. Gerald Zucker, were longtime residents of Butler. After Gerald's retirement, they relocated to Highland Beach, Fla., where Sylvia passed peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.

She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Zucker, of McLean, Va.; and her granddaughter, Gabriela Morrell Zucker, of Miami, Fla.

ZUCKER — A graveside service for Sylvia Ruth Zucker, who died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at Arlington National Cemetery.
