7:50 p.m. Tuesday — Tina M. Davies, 24, of Butler Township is accused of felony retail theft for allegedly shoplifting cosmetics and hair and skin care products totaling $71.53 from the Rite-Aid on South Main Street. Davies, who has three prior shoplifting convictions, was arraigned on the latest charge and placed in Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail.

7:12 p.m. Tuesday — Diana Welling, 42, of Portersville and Jason Kurst, 27, of Butler were cited for criminal trespass for an incident at Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.4:50 p.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by William Peak, 33, of Butler slid through a stop sign in Moraine Pointe Plaza and collided with a pickup driven by 16-year-old Melissa Coblentz of Butler.

10:20 p.m. Feb. 2 — A car driven by Regis Markl III, 33, of Seven Fields and a pickup driven by Wayne Frankenstein, 59, of Zelienople collided on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The collision spun around the pickup, which flipped over onto its roof. Police said Markl was cited for a lane violation.
