Charlotte Kerr Shaw

Charlotte Kerr Shaw, 80, of Grove City died at Orchard Manor at 9 a.m. Friday after a three-week illness.

Born in Boyers, Sept. 14, 1924, she was the daughter of Clyde Wayne Kerr and Ruth Maurine Kelly.

Mrs. Shaw was a homemaker and was employed by the former Palmer Smith Linens of Grove City for 15 years. She was also a greeter at the Grove City Wal-

art for nine years.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Grove City and taught PSMR Bible class for several years there. She was a 1942 graduate of Grove City High School.

She also enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by three daughters, Linda Ellison of Butler, Sheila Gittings of Midland, Mont., and Ramona Panitzke of Gibsonia; two sons, Jonathan Shaw of Enola and Robert Shaw, of Grove City; four sisters, Sally Buckley of Grove City, Sandra Snyder of Zepher Hills, Fla., Lavone Reed of Ripley, N.Y., and Karen Raush of Phoenix, Ariz.; four brothers, Ed Kerr of Leesburg, Fla., Donald Kerr and Clyde Kerr, both of Harrisburg, and Larry Kerr of Middletown, Ohio; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Shaw, whom she married Dec. 28, 1945, and who died May 30, 1998; a sister and a brother.

<B>SHAW</B> - Friends of Charlotte Kerr Shaw, who died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Merritt H. Edner of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
