Luchkiw

Patricia L. Luchkiw, 79, of Reading passed away at 12:05 a.m. Thursday at the Manor Care Home in West Reading.

She was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Butler, the daughter of the late Albert Rodgers and the late Susan (Porach) Rodgers.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler.

Surviving are two sons, Larry (Rebecca) Luchkiw of Butler and Thomas (Patty) Luchkiw of Sinking Spring, Berks County; two daughters, Marianne Luchkiw of Montana and Marcy (Matt) Petrie of Manassas, Va.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Susan (Richard) Meeker of Manassas, Va.; and a brother, Albert (Jackie) Rodgers of Indianapolis, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Luchkiw, who died Oct. 20, 2003; a son, William; and two sisters and five brothers.
