Gallagher

Scott Gallagher, 47, of East Butler, passed away on Friday, Aug. 4, 2023.

He was born in Butler, on Sept. 18, 1975, to Ramona (Ruffaner) Gallagher and the late Robert Gallagher.

After graduating from Butler High School, Scott worked in the construction field for the majority of his career. He most recently worked as a foreman for Metalized Ceramics of East Butler.

He enjoyed playing drums and guitar, drawing and he loved to work on cars, especially Mustangs. He was a member of the East Butler Fire Hall and loved to stay active. He was known to be loving, caring, hardworking and a perfectionist.

Above all else, Scott loved being a father to his son, Javen Gallagher. Along with his son and mother; he is survived by his sister, Stacy McClain; his nephew, Eathan; his niece, Rowan; and his son’s mother, Mary (Homison) Melzer.

GALLAGHER — Family and friends of Scott Gallagher, who died Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Scott’s name to the Butler County Humane Society.
