6:31 p.m. Monday — Brandon Sandusky, 19, of Slippery Rock allegedly left the Wal-Mart store in Butler Commons with unpaid merchandise. Sandusky is charged with retail theft.1:27 p.m. Monday — Tina M. Davies, 24, of Butler is accused of shoplifting merchandise, including batteries, soda and a blanket, at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Davies is charged with retail theft.9:42 a.m. Monday — Vehicles driven by Irene Bittner, 24, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, and Frances Edinger, 57, of Butler collided on North Duffy Road and Rural Drive. Bittner was cited for a stop sign violation.12:24 a.m. Saturday — David King Sr., 47, of Lyndora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his truck struck the rear of a car on New Castle Road near Shockey Lane. Ashlie Ortz, 24, of Lebanon, Pa., was driving the car. King, in addition to DUI, was cited for reckless driving, careless driving and driving too fast for conditions.
Monday — A Galaxy CB radio, Cobra weather band radio and Garmin global positioning unit were stolen from a tractor truck at I-80 Truck and Trailer Service in Wolf Creek Township. The theft occurred between Saturday and Monday.The truck, owned by Richard L. Ferguson of Grove City, sustained $1,000 in damage in the break-in. Charles A. Michael of Grove City owns the stolen property valued at $500.
