11:28 a.m. Wednesday — A 12-year-old boy was caught with suspected marijuana at Butler Intermediate High School on Fairground Hill Road. The student is charged in juvenile court with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

9:40 a.m. Wednesday — A dark-colored, Ford F-150 extended cab pickup truck backed into a utility pole while leaving the parking lot at 101 South Center Street, and did not stop.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925Wednesday — A bicycle was found on South Broad Street in an alley near Four Star Pizza. The owner can claim the bike at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.Wednesday — Unspecified property was reportedly stolen from three vehicles between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The cars broken into were apparently unlocked and parked in the 600 block of Craig Street, the 600 block of Ridgeway Avenue and the 700 block of Ridgeway Avenue.Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call police.

3:07 p.m. Wednesday — Rose M. Metheney, 56, of Grove City was hurt in a two-car wreck in Harrisville.The crash happened when cars driven by Metheney and Charla L. Frampton, 26, of Harrisville collided at Route 58 and North Church Street. Metheney suffered minor injuries.3:04 p.m. Wednesday — One person was hurt when a pickup truck driven by Rodney E. Thompson, 45, of Eau Claire rear-ended a sport utility vehicle on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. The SUV driver, Sandra Dimon, 62, of Newport News, Va., suffered minor injuries. Police said Thompson was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
