Rachel Diane Marburger, 47, of Connoquenessing Township, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Rachel was born in Pittsburgh, on Sept. 27, 1975, to Charlene (Fritz) Sedoris, of Connoquenessing Township, and the late Robert Sedoris.

Rachel was loved by everyone she met. She had a fiery personality that will be missed dearly. She enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband and friends, spending time at Daytona Beach, Fla., in the winter months and cheering on her favorite football teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Rachel leaves behind her loving family, her husband, Edgar Marburger, whom she married Sept. 19, 1998; and her daughters, Caitlyn and Natalie Marburger.

Rachel is survived by her sister, Renee (Dan) Laidlaw, and their daughter, Chloe, of Butler; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Marcia Marburger, of Evans City; her sister-in-law, Tina (Ted) Hawkins, of Forest City, N.C.; her brother-in-law, Joe (Heather) Marburger, of Haslet, Texas; her nieces and nephew, Ashley Gross, of Haslet, Texas, Ella Hawkins, of Forest City, N.C., and Chance (Megan) Marburger, of Justin, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

MARBURGER — Friends and family of Rachel Diane Marburger, who died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler, with Pastor John Barkley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rachel’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association at heart.org, or the Alzheimer Foundation of America at alzfdh.org.
