Tatsak

William Tatsak, 80, of Rochester, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.

He was born in Fenelton, Jan. 16, 1943, and was the son of the Late John and Helen (Butler) Tatsak.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1961 and then went on to work at Pullman Standard as a shop steward until they closed. William was known for being a hard worker, a great husband and a great father. He enjoyed square dancing and hunting and was a member of Butler City Church.

William was the beloved husband of Margaret “Peg” (Duespohl) Tatsak; father of Amy Tatsak, Shelley (Todd) Acomb and Debbie (Andy) Barclay; brother of Pat Buchanan; and grandfather of Austin, Alexa and Derek. William also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Tatsak; and a sister, Rose Green.

TATSAK — Family and friends of William Tatsak, who died Friday, July 21, 2023, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
