The East Butler Bulldogs, 10-14 during the regular season, saw their season end Friday night with a 6-2 Rust Belt League championship game loss to Meadville at Michelle Krill Memorial Field at Historic Pullman Park.

Meadville, 11-14 during the regular season, plays the winner of Saturday’s Tri-State Collegiate League title game between the Butler Iron Bucks and Creekside for the overall championship.

The best-of-three championship series begins Monday.
