Sarah Sexton

Sarah Sexton, 86, formerly of Derry, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Jan. 28, 1922, in Derry, she was the daughter of Emil and Leah Isabell Reed.

Mrs. Sexton had been a cook for several restaurants in the Butler area.

She was a Protestant.

She is survived by two sons, Barry L. Sexton of Butler and David T. Sexton of Florida; two daughters, Tana Lindsey of Prospect and Janice Tempalski of Slippery Rock; 11 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Clark of Johnstown; a brother, Daryl Reed of Washington, D.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Jerry T. Sexton, died April 14, 1982. She also was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and two brothers.

<B>SEXTON</B> — Friends of Sarah Sexton, who died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Connie Dunn of the VNA Hospice officiating.
