Donald C. Kamerer, 78, of Chicora, died Friday evening, July 14, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

He was born in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, Chicora, on Thursday, Sept. 21, 1944, the son of the late Floyd C. Kamerer and the late Ella R. Seybert Kamerer.

He attended Karns City High School until 11th grade, then received his GED diploma. He worked for Standard Bent Glass in East Butler, Pa., retiring after 20 years of service. He enjoyed four-wheelers, riding his motorcycle and grooming his property.

He is survived by a sister, Kay C. (Joseph) Tirk of Butler; three brothers, Larry A. (June) Kamerer of Mims, Fla., Randall F. (Karen) Kamerer of Chicora and Ed R. Kamerer of Chicora; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda Waterson and Martha Bish.

KAMERER — At the request of Donald C. Kamerer, who died Friday, July 14, 2023, and his family, there was no visitation nor viewing as everything was private.

Private burial was in Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery, Route 268, Chicora.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Chicora.
