Greenert 50th anniversary
Clarence “Mike” and Patsy Greenert of Eau Claire celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house for family and friends at the Eau Claire Volunteer Fire Department.
Greenert married the former Patsy Texter on July 31, 1964, at Eau Claire Presbyterian Church in Eau Claire.
They have two children, Clarence “Bud” (Mary) Greenert of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Michele (Kevin) Altman of Eau Claire.
They also have four grandchildren.
Greenert worked at Tarr Dairy Farm, at Tom Jolly Farm and for Pennsylvania Drilling. He also worked in a coal mine and for Gibson Construction. He retired in the 1990s.
Mrs. Greenert has been a hairdresser and a stay-at-home mom. She also worked for Eau Claire Presbyterian Church and had various part-time jobs.
The Greenerts are members of Eau Claire Presbyterian Church.
Greenert has served on the session and as a trustee. He is a member of Men of Vision.
After retiring, the Greenerts went on mission trips in eight states and to Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia.
The couple likes old country music, gardening and traveling to Tennessee and Missouri.
