Larry G. Greenway, 86, of Cabot, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his home.

Born July 28, 1936, in West Liberty, Pa., he was the son of Gordon Greenway and Lois McDeavitt Greenway.

Larry worked for Armco Steel, retiring after 37 years. He served four years in U.S. Air Force Intelligence. Larry was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Penn Hills. He enjoyed gardening, reading, especially the Bible, and being with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce C. (Bachman) Greenway, whom he married Sept. 16, 1960; his son, the Rev. Berton (Lynne) Greenway of Penn Hills; two daughters, Elaine (Steven) Meals of Canfield, Ohio, and Denise (Matthew) Fair of McKean, Pa.; his brother, Glenn (Loren) Greenway of Butler; his sister, Mona Henricks of Grove City; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Ford; and one great-grandson.

GREENWAY — Friends of Larry G. Greenway, who died July 5, 2023, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hahn officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
