Irene Skalyo Zultowski, 89, of Baptist Manor, Mount Lebanon, formerly of Worth Township, died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Home of Mount Lebanon.

Born in Stowe Township, Allegheny County, April 24, 1918, she was a daughter of George and Mary Halley Zurosik.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Baptist Church of Worth Township and the Zion Maid Servants of the church. She was a member of the AARP National Chapter.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary H. Huch and her husband, Don, of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Charlotte S. Orient and her husband, Joseph T., of Peters Township; two stepdaughters, Mary Ann Jackson and her husband, Raymond, of Wampum and Catherine Hovanec and her husband, William, of Hopewell Township; a stepson, Stephen Zultowski Jr. of Clinton; four grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Her first husband, Charles "Chas" Skalyo, died in 1962, and her second husband, Stephen J. Zultowski Sr., died in 1991. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Mike, John, George, and five sisters, Elizabeth, Helen, Margaret, Mary and Ann.

<B>ZULTOWSKI </B>— Friends of Irene Skalyo Zultowski, who died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock where services will follow at 6: p.m. The Rev. Thomas Meling, pastor of the Zion Baptist Church, will officiate.
