Mary Ann Glover, 74, of Butler died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born Dec. 2, 1933, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Edward W. and Marvel (Somerville) Roll.

She had worked in sales at King's Jewelry store, at Montgomery Ward in its jewelry department and also in the fitting department at Hill's Department Store.

She was a member of the North Street Christian Church in Butler, and she had loved to dance and to shop and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Richard J. "Butch" Glover and his wife, Terri, and Edward W. Glover and Sandy Glover, all of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Lisa J.) Fleischman, and Mrs. Kevin (Beth Ann) Holt, all of Butler; her companion of eight years, Charles Stiehm of Butler; a sister, Aldean Hilliard of Butler; two brothers, Carl Roll of Butler and Dave Roll of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Glover, whom she married Oct. 17, 1952. He died July 21, 1995. She also was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Roll.
