1:28 a.m. Monday — George Hauck, 52, of Chicora was arrested for driving under the influence on East Jefferson Street. Police said Hauck also was cited for driving with an expired registration.
2:39 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by Vance Stevenson, 39, of Chicora crashed into several mailboxes and fences along Evans City Road. Police said Stevenson faces charges of careless driving, accidents involving damage to unattended property and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.7:01 p.m. Saturday — Police charged Amanda Haskin, 19, of Butler with trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was initially suspected of shoplifting at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons.11:21 p.m. Saturday — Kenneth Donohue, 44, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a curb on Armco Drive at the main gate to AKSteel. The crash caused a flat tire and both air bags to deploy.Police said in addition to DUI, Donohue faces charges for driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.4:27 p.m. Saturday — Kristin Elaine Tate, 27, of Butler is charged with retail theft for allegedly shoplifting merchandise at an unspecified business in Butler Commons.10:05 a.m. Friday — Joshua Ray Herald, 20, of East Butler is charged with retail theft and conspiracy for allegedly shoplifting $498 in merchandise at Wal-Mart.9:47 a.m. Friday — Tammy L. Michel, 30, of Butler is accused of stealing $606 in merchandise at the Wal-Mart. Michael is charged in the incident with retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.2 p.m. Thursday — William Ireland Jr., 39, of Butler faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after police were called to his home for a report of an unresponsive man suffering a possible drug overdose. Police said they found an empty stamp bag of heroin at the home.
Monday — Raymond Shearer reported that someone took a spotting scope and binoculars from his vehicle on Swope Road in Washington Township.Monday — An unknown thief used an East Butler couple's debit card to make numerous fraudulent purchases in Texas.Sunday — Unspecified items were stolen in a burglary between Thursday and Sunday from the Cromwell Drive home of Scott Nagel in Clinton Township.Friday — An unknown vandal damaged a metal fence at Crestfield Camp on Crolls Mill Road in West Liberty. The vandalism occurred between Nov. 18 and Friday.
Nov. 23 — Tessa Summerville, no age given, of Knox is accused of hitting Cody Anthony, 19, of Parker numerous times in the face during an altercation in a wooded area off Myers Hollow Road in Licking Township.Police said Summerville also hit Anthony on the head with a beer bottle, cutting his left ear. The woman, police said, is charged with simple assault and harassment.
7:45 a.m. Monday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Deborah Questiaux, 58, of Prospect struck an embankment and rolled over on Route 422 in West Franklin Township. Questiaux suffered minor injuries.5:10 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Dale P. Lessner, 25, of Worthington crashed into an embankment and rolled over, landing on its wheels on Montgomery Road in East Franklin Township. Lesser told police he lost control of his car after swerving to avoid a deer. Police said he is charged with driving too fast for conditions.
1:22 a.m. Saturday — Justin J. Hopkins, 22, of Grove City lost control of his car after hitting a deer on Kilgore Road in Worth Township. The car went off the road, hit an embankment and overturned. Police said Hopkins, who suffered moderate injuries, was cited for failing to immediately notify authorities of the accident.
