Clair Irene Doutt, 95, of Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Wilkins Avenue, died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday in Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 3, 1914, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late George Clair Martin and Cora Clay Martin Bowser.

Mrs. Doutt was a sales clerk for Troutman's, where she retired in 1978; and she also worked as a banquet waitress at Butler Holiday Inn.

She was Methodist by faith.

Mrs. Doutt was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the South Butler Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Mrs. Doutt is survived by two sons, Richard C. Doutt and his wife, Esther, of Butler and Gary Doutt of Butler; one daughter, Janet Eileen and her husband, Paul Graham of Carlisle; a number grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence and his wife, Dorothy Bowser of Texas; two daughter-in-laws, Reba J. Doutt of Butler and Jean Doutt of Chesapeake, Va.; and also a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Doutt was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Doutt, whom she married Sept. 11, 1929, and who passed away March 15, 1968; and also five sons, one grandson, one sister and one brother.

North St., Butler. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Patricia Nelson, of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
