Reese new chairman for redevelopment
Butler’s Redevelopment Authority has a new look.
Longtime member Fred Reese, owner of the Monroe Hotel at East Jefferson and West Monroe streets, has been elected authority chairman, filling the vacancy left by Mike Kelly’s election to Congress. Reese is also a city council member.
Mayor Maggie Stock also announced Monday the appointment of Joe Gray, owner of Gray Warnick Engineering, as well as multiple properties in downtown Butler.
Butler’s Redevelopment Authority works on community and economic development.
